Pregnancy Massage

Myotherapy
Myotherapy is the assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, which may cause muscular dysfunction and the pain thus affecting movement & mobility. Myotherapists utilize a range of treatment techniques to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia). They also employ various soft tissue manipulation techniques, together with other modalities such as: trigger point therapy, dry needling, deep tissue massage, hot and cold therapies, passive/active muscle stretching and corrective or rehabilitative exercises. A Myotherapist aims to identify the cause of one’s pain to ensure quick, effective and long lasting results.
Myofascial Cupping
Myofascial Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy in which a glass, plastic or bamboo cup is applied to the skin then the pressure in the cup is reduced in order to draw and hold skin and superficial muscle tissue/fascia inside the cup. Sometimes, while the suction is active, the cup is moved, causing the skin and muscle to be pulled.
The process draws blood from your vessels and into your tissue. Your body thinks it’s been injured, this jumpstarts a positive inflammatory response, mobilising antibodies to the area to try to heal it.

Dry Needling

Lava Shells
Lava Shells originated from the Philippines and are made from actual shells, designed to provide continual heat. They are specially sculpted with curved edges and planes so that they can reach more deeply into tight muscles using the self-heating action of the shells themselves. Ice shells can be combined into treatment to aid swelling muscle inflammation.
Lava Shells can be added to any massage package for an additional $20.
